"A Million Lives"

A new song came out called "A Million Lives" by Jake Miller. In the song, he sings about how people have told him that he saved their lives. "It said and I quote, my name is Nikki and I used to be dancer
Til the day the doctor diagnosed me with cancer
So I said goodbye to all the hair on my head
And said hello to my hospital bed
Yeah see I was just a normal girl, it happened so fast
There were so many days that I thought would be my last
However the fight was tough, and the battle was long
But I felt strong when I listened to your songs
You were, always there for me, you helped my heart beat
You were my only friend, kept you on repeat
I thank God for you every single night
Cause believe or not, you saved my life" I connect this song to the world now. There aren't many new songs coming out today that are about saving lives or good deeds. They're more focused on money, hoes, and cars. "Inside was a journal and letter that he wrote me
It said my name is Dillon I'm in 7th grade
I'm ridiculed and picked on almost everyday
Yeah they push me in the halls in between my classes
Yesterday they took my books then broke my glasses
I got no one to talk to, its like I don't exist
Sometimes I wonder if I was gone, would I be missed? But lemme tell the real reason for this letter
You've helped me through it all, you've help me feel better
You're words gimme confidence, your messages inspire me You help me find my inner strength deep inside me
Through all the bad times, you helped me find the light
Believe or not, you saved my life." It seems like artist Jake Miller gets these letters and messages a lot. His music is inspiring to many. Especially those who may be going through a hard time.

Forgiveness

A man that hijacks an airplace and flies it into the Pentagon, killing everyone on the plane and many military and civilian personnel on the ground should not be forgiven. If that man is twisted enough to do that, I would not forgive him. Why would you forgive someone that is purposely killing innocent people for no reason in the world? If you had sense, you wouldn't. A man that does that, is a man that deserves to be punished. The man should suffer for killing innocent people, not be forgiven.

Large, quarter-size mosquitoes to invest Florida

Have you ever gotten a big mosquito bite that annoyed the heck out of you? Well, if so, you would not want to be in Florida right now. Current.com says "If you reside in Florida or have summer vacation plans to head there, you are advised to be prepared for a potential infestation of large mosquitoes, the size of quarters." I go to Florida almost every year for a summer vacation and they're always horrible unless you're on the actual beach. Two years ago, a mosquito bite infected my entire body. They thought it was tick fever. Current.com also says "Gallinippers are 20 times larger than the ordinary mosquito and are native to the eastern half of the U.S. The insect is known to be notoriously aggressive with a vicious bite." If I ever see an army of mosquitoes the size of a quarter, I would proabably have a heart-attack.

Scared Out of My Mind

I was sitting in the den, visiting my grandma. She goes in the kitchen to start supper and I stay in the den. I check my facebook amd I see my facebook friends writing on one of my best friend's Wall saying, "R.I.P". First, I think its a joke so I text him and ask him if he knows about it. I don't get a reply back. So, I start to freak out and obsessively call him. I didn't want to believe it was true!
I got ahold of his cousin and his cousin told me that he had gotten in a wreck in Jonesboro and  passed away. I didn't know what else to do, but to cry my eyes out. Everyone believed that he was dead and I just couldn't believe that he was gone. Even though I saw the R.I.P. posts and he didn't reply to my phone calls and texts, it didn't feel like he was gone.
I called his big sister and started to apologize for her loss and everything, and she told me that he wasn't dead. She told me that he had done something horrible and he had a friend tell everyone he was dead to keep people from trying to kill him for the thing they did. He called me a week later and explained.

Think about it, why would billionaires spend billions of dollars to donate to charities, if they didn't care? The text says, "Gates and his wife, Melina, 'couldn't escape the brutal conclusion that- in our world today- some lives are seen as worth saving and others are not.'" They gave the kids in other countries over 30 billion dollars for their disease called rotavirus. I do not think that they did this to get their own publicity benefit. They donated this much, because they actually care and want to make a difference. I do not think that they think of it as a moral due, I think they just did it out of the kindness of their heart's.

#TwitterCreatesProbs

Lately,  I  have   noticed   that   people   have   been  creating   loads   of   drama  over  twitter.   I   see   subtweets  and  fights  atleast  once  a  week  on  my  timeline.  I  read  an  article  on  yahoo,  about  KitchenAid,  a    maker  of   dishwashers  and  other  home  appliances,  tweeting  bad  about   our  current  president,  Obama.  KitchenAid  tweeted, "Obamas  gma  even  knew  it  was  going  2  b  bad! 'She  died  3  days  b4  he  became  president."
This  company  is  not  the  only  twitter  account  that  has  said  something  horrible  about  Obama.  I  only  follow  140  people,  and  I  see  bad  things  about  him  a  lot.  I  don't  understand  why  people  put  their  strong  opinions  on  twitter,  because  they're  going  to  get  a  response  from  someone  that  has  a  different  opinion,  and  they're  going  to  get  into  an  argument.
Unlike  the  company  I  read  about  in  the  article,  most  people  don't  apologize  for  what  they  tweet,  when  it  clearly  hurts  someone's  feelings  or  they  knew  they  were  wrong.  I  think  that  this  needs  to  stop.  I  do  not  think  that  this  should  have  to  be  a  problem,  if  you're  mature  enough  to  have  your  own  twitter  account,  you're  should  be  mature  enough  to  watch  what  you  say  on  it.

The Image of Narcissus

The guy in the image represents Narcissus from the myth. In the image, the guy is trying to catch a frog. "And as he gazed upon the mirrored pool he said at last 'Ah, youth beloved in vain!' In vain, in vain!' The women in the imagine is jealous of the frog, because it was Narcissus' attention.
